Q. What is the term of your lease?

A. All leases renew for a one year term on May 1st of each year,
regardless of the original lease start date.

 

Q. Are dogs and cats allowed?

A. No pets are allowed.

 

Q. Are the utilities included in the rent?

A. Landlord provides the following utilities: heat, air conditioning,
water, sewer, and trash removal.
Tenant pays for electricity, telephone, cable, and internet service.

 

Q. Is a security deposit required?

A. Tenant pays a security deposit equal to one month's rent.

 

Q. When is the security deposit due?

A. Security deposit is due at signing of the lease.

 

Q. When do I pay my first month's rent?

A. First month's rent is due prior to move-in.

 

Q. If I don't move in on the first of the month, do I still pay a full month's rent?

A. The first month's rent is pro-rated.

 

Q. Is there a laundry facility?

A. Washer and dryers are centrally located on each floor and there is a central laundry facility open 24/7 on the ground floor.

 

Q. Who is responsible for light bulbs, and smoke detector batteries?

A. Tenants provide replacement light bulbs, and batteries for smoke detectors.

 

Q. Does the landlord provide drapes or shades?

A. Tenants provide their own window treatments.

 

Q. Is parking available on site?

A. On-site garage parking is available for a fee.

 

Q. Is there a place to store my bicycle?

A.  There is a locked bike room on the ground floor of the garage.

Q. When is the pool open?

A. The swimming pool is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day
from Noon to 7:00 PM.

 

Q. Are pool guests allowed?

A. Leaseholders may bring up to 4 guests.

 

Q. Is there a lifeguard at the pool?

A. A lifeguard is on duty during certain pool hours.

 

Q. Can children go to the pool on their own?

A. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

 

Q. Can I smoke in the building?

A. Smoking is not permitted in the common areas of the building, or in the garage.

 

Q. When is the fitness center open?

A. The fitness center is available for use 24 hours per day.

 

Q. Is there a place to meet as a group?

A. A community room is available for tenant use.

 

Q. If I have a problem, is someone available to address the issue?

A. There is a Manager on site 5 days a week. There is maintenance staff and reception area staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

 

Q. Is there additional security at night?

A. A security guard is on duty from 10 PM to 6 AM.

 

Q. Is entry into the building restricted?

A. Yes, all exterior doors and tenant amenity areas require an electronic key for access.  Guests are admitted by tenants or receptionist.

Q. Are there any outside exercise facilities?

A. Yes, there is a tennis, pickle ball, basketball court, children's playground exercise and paloti room.

 

Q. Are there additional on-site amenities?

A. There is a business center that has wii fi and private room, library, bike room, electric car chargers, beauty salon, doctors, accountants, travel agent, financial planner, jeweler and more.

Q. Is there public transportation nearby?

A. The public bus stop is in front of Maxon Towers. Senior citizen
transportation including Access, and Elder Express stop at Maxon Towers.

 

Q. Is the last month's rent pro-rated?

A. No.

 

Q. May I use my securtiy deposit to pay my last month's rent?

A. No. The security deposit is returned to the tenant after move-out
and inspection of the apartment.
